The industry standard for clothing hang tags is 300gsm. This weight is sturdy enough to hold its shape when attached to a garment, feels substantial in hand, and prints beautifully in both matte and gloss finishes. For a more premium feel, 400gsm+ is recommended. For lightweight inserts or budget orders, 250gsm works well.

We offer rectangular, square, and round as standard shapes. Custom die-cut shapes — arches, ovals, shields, or any outline — are also available. Provide your custom shape artwork and we'll confirm production feasibility. Round and arch shapes are particularly popular with lifestyle and artisan brands for their distinctive look.

Yes — both embossing (raised) and debossing (sunken) are available on our cardstock hang tags. These finishes are applied after printing and add a tactile, three-dimensional quality to your logo or design elements. Embossing/debossing works best on 350gsm+ cardstock where the material is thick enough to hold the impression cleanly. Include this in your quote request for accurate pricing.

We offer string and pin as the standard attachment, available in a wide range of string and pin colors to match your brand. Alternatives include string-only (no pin, tied through a loop), and no attachment (tag delivered with hole pre-punched, for brands using their own fasteners). Custom string materials — natural cotton, polyester, metallic — are also available.

We accept JPG, PDF, and PNG for upload. Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF with vector paths) give the sharpest results at any size. For print work, high-resolution files at 300dpi or higher are required. If you only have a low-res file, our design team can redraw your logo in vector format for a small fee. Always include Pantone (PMS) color codes if exact color matching is important.

Our minimum order is 1000 hang tags. Volume pricing kicks in significantly at 500+, and orders of 5,000+ receive wholesale pricing with a dedicated account manager for large brand and retail accounts. Rush production is available at all order quantities for an additional fee — ideal for product launches and seasonal collections.
